At Pacific, loyalty matters. Pacific Loyal celebrates consistent donors whose annual gifts strengthen the university and enrich the experiences of our students and faculty.

Donors who make a gift of any amount in two or more consecutive fiscal years (July 1 – June 30) receive Pacific Loyal status. Committed supporters are then recognized for the total number of years in which they have given to Pacific.

Annual giving is instrumental in strengthening our programs, responding to emergent needs, and allowing students and faculty to take risks and push boundaries in their pursuit of excellence. By becoming Pacific Loyal, you can make an impact on our Tiger family for years to come.

“Scholarships and aid allowed me to become a Pacific student, so giving back is especially important to me. Collectively, our impact can make the difference for a new generation of Tigers.”

Jim Morgali

“My wife and I decided we’d tithe when we got married. We’re used to giving, it’s just a way of life – it makes a big difference. As far as Pacific goes, it’s the Pacific family. It's only natural to support your family.”

Virginia & Tony Chan '77

“We are grateful to be a part of the thousands of Pacific supporters who stepped forward to invest in human potential and possibility.”

Keith Porter '63

“It’s important to me to 'pay it forward' and help make a similar experience possible for others in later generations. I consider it a responsibility and a privilege to help make education widely available and accessible.”

Diane Stauffer '69

“I just want us at Pacific to be the best that we can possibly be, and I believe we can get there by supporting our current students.”

Joshua Foster '08

“Pacific was instrumental in my growth, and each step since then has been a step forward. Sharing [my knowledge and resources] with recent and soon-to-be graduates, I hope it has and will help them weave their way to more meaningful careers.”

Make a cash gift of any amount for at least two consecutive fiscal years (July 1 – June 30) and you will automatically become a Pacific Loyal donor. Give every fiscal year to maintain your recognition, and let us celebrate you – our most loyal donor.

Pacific Loyal donors provide crucial ongoing support that makes so much possible for those who live, work and learn here. By supporting our outstanding students and faculty and exceptional programs, Pacific Loyal donors ensure that the Pacific experience will be available for generations to come.

Once you achieve the Pacific Loyal distinction, you are recognized for the total number of years in which you have made gifts to the university. Because giving annually is important and deeply appreciated, Pacific Loyal donors will receive special recognition and communication throughout the year and when giving milestones are reached at five, 10, 25 and 50 years.

If you miss a fiscal year, you will experience a lapse in Pacific Loyal recognition. Pacific Loyal status can be reinstated with two consecutive years of support. At that time, you will receive notification of your Pacific Loyal status and be recognized for the total number of years in which you have made gifts to University of the Pacific.

Cash gifts from individuals to any area at Pacific count toward establishing or sustaining Pacific Loyal status.

NOTE: While the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, McGeorge School of Law, School of Health Sciences and Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy do not currently participate in Pacific Loyal, their donors can become Loyal-eligible by also supporting university-wide priorities.

Pacific Loyal recognizes donors who make cash gifts to the university every year. While pledges are not applied toward Pacific Loyal recognition, contributions made toward your pledges do count.
